I do hope after 6 matches it does not become Soppy Loppy, or indeed Spanish Cunt?

I think that is inevitable Dave… more of a question of when than if.

Or indeed a menu of only sausages at the training ground.

There'll be some Tim who haven't got a fucking clue what we're on about.

I’ve hardly had a clue what you’ve been on about since the HammersMad days! :D

You know, I’m getting a bit pissed off with the “the more possession based football we’ll play next season” and the “ most of our players don’t suit the possession based game that Lopetegui plays” narrative.

If he’s serious about that then you’re looking at maybe 4/5 first choice starters coming in and lots more to make our bench usable.
And with Sullivan at the helm I don’t see that … or a repeat of the 2016 Zaza etc season .
Most of our squad have been primed for Moyesball.

I don’t see it myself but can’t wait to find out

Depends what's meant by"more posession based football" doesn't it ? For me it means an end to the everyone behind the ball nonsense where , because everyone is behind the bloody ball there's no outlet to relieve pressure. That approach alone will increase our posession stats, for the benefit of those for whom that sort of thing means something. I don't see us having too much difficulty in rettaining the ball more provided the off ball movement enables a player in posession to have passing options. Isn't that what posession football means ?

If idiots like me can get a bunch of 15 and 16 year olds doing it on Sunday mornings I'm fairly sure a bloke who has managed Spain and the biggest club in world football is more than capable of getting his message across to our lot. The question for me is whether our lot will be better at it than the ones doing the same thing for the other team. But imo we do have a decent share of players with decent technical ability.
