I was unaware of that. I thought that it would’ve followed the same format as past World Cups.

Having said that, there are already two groups where the third placed team has surpassed the two points that Ghana has amassed.

And of the remaining three groups, it’s likely that another two groups at least will have a third place team with a higher amount of points.

Cameroon beat Gambia and Algeria beat or draw with Mauritania, and our boy will be home within 24 hours of the final whistle.
Yeah most likely he’ll be home Oz but not guaranteed just yet

Only ‘as it stands’ Dave.

For Ghana to qualify, Algeria and/or Zambia would have to lose by more than a goal in their final group games, and Cameroon can’t win. It’s all about goal difference now.
