So much better second half. We competed really well. We need that same fire and desire that we had in the second half in the first half. Surely Valencia has to be sold now as in theory after the break we have a lot of players back.

A schizophrenic performance today.

We had a good go after the goal so credit there.

This is a top top side who will beat 90% if sides so not so bad as it could have.

But we can't keep playing in spurts. Nowhere near enough over 90 minutes and the starting formation is clearly wrong.

Ok we lost and they scored at the death but much better. Calleri and Lanzini look like they are on the same wave length and Payet is yet to come back in. Hopefully Antonio will be used further up the pitch and Byram played a nice half after his introduction.

Shades of last seasons hammers in the second half and it's nice to have enjoyed our football again.
