Dont care who it was against it was NEVER accepted until 10 years ago, let alone against a team in the same league.
City can't win CL.
City have not spent fortunes last 2 years.
Yet people accept a 5 - 0 defeat.

Why?
Acceptance is a free pass for our Manager to coach horrendously poorly akin to a Sunday league manager.
City have not spent fortunes last 2 years

Man City net spend last 2 years £124 million.
West Ham net spend last 2 years £120 million.
Brighton net spend last 2 years £141 million. I guess we should be happy with a 6 - 0 defeat at home to Brighton.

There you go muppet.
Be factually correct or I won't bother with you.

What does the Citeh team cost in comparison to ours?
Forget the two years what was the value of their team on Saturday. The likes of Citeh, Liverpool and spuds have spent fortunes over the last 10 years to get to this point. We have only spent big on one window!

Stupid to compare based on last two seasons.
It’s not what you do it is the way that you do it.

I take that you mean the LAST two years doesn't mean this year H.........now lets see the the factually correct figures.
( You would have to factor in the value of the players they sold bought by the big bucks in earlier years.)

I will help.......Gross Spend
Man City Two years ago gross spend....285 million......Net spend........203 million
West Ham...................................51 million.......Net Spend........+11 million

I will let you do the rest... ;) ....

Those players that you mention for City would be double that now if they were trying to buy them today, if age was on their side. We are paying over the odds, but it's the market.
Harry McGuire £85m

So, what you're saying is City showed good, prudent financial management by beating the upturn and have now eased up spending since market went mad.

Mire reason we shouldn't be getting fived against them.

No, I am saying that they have considerably better players than us, who in today's market would be double the money that City paid for them when they did. Hope that helps.

muppet

Have you forgotten the team that is already there prior to the net spend in the last two years ? probably the best team ever seen in the PL...that is what I was laughing about. Their net spend this season alone is 89M and that is with the greatest team ever assembled in the PL plus de Bruyne fit again.

Its like saying Liverpool have no players because all they have signed is a junior and a couple of sub goalkeepers

As I said stupid to compare last 2 years, Yarmolenko didn’t even play and you seem to have inflated his transfer price by 3mil!
Anderson inflated price by 7m!

Now tot up their defence compared to ours, midfield also. Then come back instead of picking players to suit your argument.
Then look at last 10 years spend compared to ours arsewipe.
It’s not what you do it is the way that you do it.
