Could say the same for Pellegrini.
And like MP, he’s a bloke that’s already passed the peak of his career and is enjoying some serious wonga in the Far East before taking up fly fishing with J.R Hartley.
Fancy calling your only son "Barnestoneworth"
He's got another name....

When I read This headline I thought that maybe a Boxing match had been arranged :o
If it was .....Rafa would knock Pelle out before he had got up from his stool (unless it was a easy riser stool)

I wanted us to hire Benitez when Pellegrini came in, I think the time for getting him on board may have gone. Some people are saying that Pellegrini will be sacked but I think he is here to stay, maybe the board are hoping he'll resign but not with that much money at stake.

Didn't he have issues with the lack of investment from the board when at Newcastle? Is he going to want to come to West Ham and enjoy looking at the loan market in January? I think the time for Benitez may have passed, that said we are so abysmal at the moment i'd welcome the change.

I would welcome a change , it needs to be done , Pellegrini and Co have not made the correct decisions on recruitment . But they still attempt to play Pellegrini's preferred tactics , which just does not work with the current squad . Their are other points they are getting wrong but just cannot be bothered going into it .
No denying Rafa Benitez has the credentials , but he just doesn't fill me with optimism .

Really find it difficult to contribute to these threads.

Too many variables to compare managers.
