It seems we have a bit of a gem in this lad and I'm sure he'll play a part this season. With the obvious exception of Rice there's not been anyone as promising since the boy Dixon.

Got to say that is how I see it as well , though the CB - LB - AM and Striker have to be starters and the Holding Midfielder backup , do you have any in mind for the above positions ? .

Would agree , but why didn't we see more of him last season if Moyes had been impressed ( I was pre-season last ) .

We don't need a CB ? Balbuena has been allowed to just leave , Dawson is at best a backup on the bench , Reid at best is injured , Diop I still have high hopes for him to make the grade , Ogbonna needs a partner .
Zouma may be bang average in your eyes but many rate him highly and is valued well above £20m so out of our price range I would think .

Chelsea want £30M so we offer £20M, £10M below the asking price so it's a safe bid and risk free. The papers report West Ham have offered Twenty million for blah,blah and no cheques need to be written.
Lets remember we used this imaginary £20M to bid for Lingard from Man U. They naturally wanted the full £30M so that was a safe one as well.
And yet again we waved the same £20M for Tammy Abraham but that was only half what Chelsea wanted.
It's hard doing deals when the discount you award yourself, has not been agreed by anyone else.

Would have thought Kiki Kouyate ( what a name ) would have been the ideal CB for us to be after , we would possibly go in with a bid of £4m but in reality would sell for closer to £15m .
