Odubeko ?

If he's the best we have they needn't bother about an academy. No offence to the lad but he'll be in the 1st division within a couple of years if he works hard enough, which is part of the problem imo.

But was he not scoring for fun in the U23's? I do not know too much about the lad tbh. My comment was really about cover, or in our case the lack thereof.

If we need a striker, there is one playing for Ajax who has just scored 4 goals in their Champions league game tonight.
It’s not what you do it is the way that you do it.

May I be as bold to add that he also has 4 goals and 1 assist in his four league appearances this season

Not trying to get peoples Grannies sucking eggs at all , and I’m sure you know anyway , but for those that don’t .

The Ajax coach was Haller’s coach at Utrecht pre-Frankfurt so I would say your final sentence above is probably bang on .
Bring back Jonathon !

Called it. Again.
This sums up the poor transfer dealings of Moyes.
£35 million for Abrahams, as long as Moyes is capable of selling the club, and our CF position would be settled for a few years. Instead Moyes signs Hugill for £10 million. Vlasic for £27 million.
"Mum. I've wet the bed again."
