Disagree on the Scott Parker BFS reference ..Scotts problem was being to attack minded, often saw Fulham getting after
games, then being pulled apart on the counter....
Losing Cairney(Captain) in MF was huge for them...him and Reed looked a great pairing....
Be like if we had struggling season and lost Declan...
I think he'll be a good Manager one day
I think we'll have to agree to disagree on that one mate. 27 goals scored from 38 games doesn'r suggest an attack minded team to me. He may be a good manager one day. But some would say Allardyce is a good manager in particular situations. Let's be honest, he did a decent job for us. Might not have been the best football but he did what he was employed to do. One thing Fulham did well imo was passing the ball sideways and getting nowhere. Great if you're holding on to a hard earned lead but not too clever if you need a goal to salvage a point.
For me Parker made too many mistakes. He wasn't responsible for their first relegation as it was a team he inherited. But he should have seen they weren't good enough to survive and changed the side well before he eventually did. And 7 , yes SEVEN, loan signings ? WTF is that all about. They'll all be off and so he'll have to start again. Assuming he's given the chance to do it of course. But I'm guessing if he was going to be fired it would have already happened so maybe we'll get the chance to see what he can do next season.
I don't watch a huge amount of non West Ham footie...more this year than usual, bloody lockdown shit I spose,
Having fun bets on outcomes...caught Fulham a few times..played nice stuff at times, great MF which got messed up,
I really rate Cairney...they seemed to start firing then the wheels fell off again, think they created, don't quote me, as many chances
as a lot of teams above them...Mitrovic never seemed to be playing when I watched,Bencher most of season I think,
surprised with that, decent player, hindsight I know but might have banged a few more in for them.
Yeah your right tho...be interesting see what happens and where Parker ends up...same as Gerard, who I'd be happy
to have at our place at some point, not gonna happen tho,if we 'd had a shit season might have been a chance,he'll need
a couple years somewhere, before he goes to Red Scouse..Soton maybe, somewhere like that..
