The Euro's 2020(21) Thread.

Post by terrya1965 »

Surprised there wasn't one tbh.

Impressed with Italy last night.Think if they had a Kane or a Lewandowski in their team, they'd have scored 8 or more last night.Turkey were deadful.Glad I stuck a few quid on them.

How Wales got a draw is anybody`s guess. The Swiss should have buried them. The BBC Panel were boasting them up,like they were one of the favorites to win it before the game. They were crap.

Belgium look half decent too and will be there or abouts..

Still don't get how England are relying on a cart horse to get fit..Seen an elephant turn quicker.I can understand with a Rooney or a Beckham. Hope to see Grealish play tomorrow, but I feel he will choose the fellas with the MBE's.

Who’s a cart horse ?
Maguire. Who apparently was number 1 in all or most defensive stats in the prem before his injury. I was shocked too

I am not saying his a terrible player Jay,but I think it's crazy to be relying on him.

Put Russia down to be the first team out. Absolute shite.
And their manager to be Novochocked.
Love a cup of Rosey I do.

You wouldn’t have been insulting my intelligence Tel cos I genuinely had no idea , I take very little interest in football unless it’s West Ham .

However , on this occasion I have seen enough of Harry Maguire to know that he shouldn’t be near the squad at all let alone playing for England .
The Shergar lookalike shouldn’t worry if he’s injured ( is he injured ? 🤷🏻‍♂️) .
I hear there’s 16 or 17 other defenders in the squad. I’m sure one of them must be capable of standing in for him.

I can even think of a West Ham player fully capable of deputising .
Bring back Jonathon !

Agree Tel, I don’t think we have any player we can pin all our hopes on and I kinda like it that way

I've only watched Italy last night. Very clinical in the end I thought.
Turkey were completely shit, played for a draw and paid the price.
Quite glad I didn't tune in for the Denmark game tbh.
I only saw 15 mins of the Belgium game, but from what I saw, Russia didn't offer much, and Lukaku always looks a threat.
England tomorrow.
I am genuinely amused.
