Interesting Thursday eve, he had four chances to score. One he buried, instinctive power header, no time to think. Just act.
The other three were passes into feet, where he had moments to get the ball under control and then process the execution. In those moments, with time to process, he faltered, either scuffed the clean connection or simply addressed the ball slightly incorrectly. All misses.
People always say, it doesn't bother me and act nonchalent. When really, it is a huge mental burden to overcome; because consecitive failure creates a
negative feedback-loop which itself creates pressure and that pressure interferes with the smooth muscle memory that controls natural coordination.
It's not terminal but it's a bugger to fix because self doubt breeds fear and that creates chaos, when what you most need is control. And in his case - ultimate control.
He's not happy with his game, you can see that with body language. And this malaise was with him all through the Euro's and has continued into the new season. He's not playing like a player deserving of the big bucks, but lucky for him he is paid like one. And that nice fat contract has a few more years of life.
Or , alternatively, you could have just said he’s a Cunt ?
I don’t know how much exactly Spuds were offered for Kane this summer but on this form and considering he’ll be a year older and closer to the end of his contract it’ll be a kings ransom compared to what they’ll be offered next summer.
And what will they have to show for such a huge fiscal loss?
A season of what we saw yesterday from the looks of it.
A massive show of stubborn stupidity from Levy.
Still…… got to laugh eh?
Fancy calling your only son "Barnestoneworth"
He's got another name....
