David Moyes and his Claret & Blue Army.

Post by terrya1965 »

In the last 58 games under his leadership,we have only lost 2 games on the bounce ONCE.

Even under the great John Lyall in 1981 and 1986,couldn't match that.

What David has done here is nothing short of incredible.

Take a bow.

We are a fucking superb team whether the 1st XI or the 2nd XI.
I dont remember ever seeing such a hard working team at West Ham ever. In fact quite the opposite.

Still can't warm to Moyes , but he has most of our team playing as one , the fitness , energy , determination and understanding is beyond anything I have seen from a West Ham team ever 😲 . To top it off we have some superb individual players , and with the addition of a few more signings or youngsters making the level we will be a match for anyone .

Is that not a reason to warm to the man given what he took over ?

Serious question and I am just curious.

goodpost:)
he has instilled a brilliant work ethic , the running they did last night was incredible and bowen , nobes , even yarmo were knackered at the end. But more than that, this seems the most together team ive ever seen at WHU. Giving back a real sense of pride for the fans.....stop it now ive got a tear in me eye :D :D

WHY?

What else would you like him to do?

Yes,his made mistakes and will makes others too.

There is one important thing to becoming successful and it's consistency. We lose a game and we bounce back.We have got that.

If you'd have been in a Coma from the start of lockdown and would have woke up and see how good we have been, you'd have thought you were dreaming."Nah,this can't be right" :?

I have followed West Ham for 50 years and that aren't many times, where I can stick my chest out with pride and say"We got a bloody good team and manager and I am bloody proud to support them".Especially nowadays with the money the big teams have over the rest.At least back in time, there was a more even playing field.Tbh,it's nothing short of outstanding what has been done over the last 18 months.

This is by far the best team we have hadin the last 35 years..I am so loving it Clayton.

At the risk of sounding like a shit fan, and a bit of a poof:

Until recently, whenever I was asked who I supported, I sheepishly muttered “West Ham”, followed by a self-deprecating laugh and shrug of the shoulders that said “don’t ask me why - clearly I mustn’t be right in the head”.

That hasn’t happened for a little while now. I’ve got that sense of pride back.
