West Ham vs Tottenham Official Match Thread

Post by Ibbyham »

Hope to keep our good winning form going and to break the habit of losing after Europa game. Tottenham have rested some players in Brucie, Son, etc. I hope we will give a good game and keep Tottenham quiet as we did against Everton. Coufal may not be ready for this game as Moyes quoted earlier this week so expected Johnson to keep his place.

Fabianski

Johnson
Zouma
Ogbonna
Cresswell

Rice
Soucek

Bowen
Benrahma
Fornals

Antonio

Need to keep our feet on the ground and be counted. This is clearly the best side since I became a supporter in May 1989 as I never felt so comfortable with our matches so far.

As long as we don't start the game slow as we need to do what we did against Everton but a better clinical finishing this time.

Good job Ibbs.

I probably should be apprehensive about this game, but I’m not.

We should see this as a winnable game, and show little respect to the opposition.

Problem we've got Ibbs is that Tottenham didn't rest SOME of the team that will probably play Sunday, they rested ALL of them. Tbh if someone offered me a draw, right now, I'd take it. Wouldn't be a bad result imo.

We have lost both games so far after our European game.

They fear us and rested their whole team.

Keep Sun quite and we have a chance.

As Mr Whiskyman says I’d take the draw.

That what I feel as a draw won't be a bad result. I feel for Soucek today as I don't want him to be very weary.

I could be wrong but I'm guessing that Soucek is one of those players who simply wants to play every minute of every game. Thought he played well tonight without being outstanding.

I worry for Johnson against Son but it’s still a winnable game. Would settle for the draw though I suppose
