So fucking obvious we needed a striker in the summer but that Jock cunt thought he knew better didn't he ?

He has however, got the chance to redeem himself soon.

I used to work in Chicago in the old department store
I used to work in Chicago but I don't work there any more
Moyes came in for a striker, a striker from the Stooooorre.....

Striker he wanted Tarkowski he got and I don't work there anymore.

Can't agree we'd have won with Coufal and Cresswell playing. The problem was a lack of punch up front and the performance of Lloris. Our biggest goal threat was Soucek. I do agree Coufal's distribution is far better than Ashby's but overall I thought the kid did all right, as did Johnson on the other side imo.

And why on earth Moyes took Vlasic off and replaced him with Benrahma only he knows. I thought Vlasic used the ball well, kept their defence busy and rarely wasted a ball. Probably second to Rice as our MOTM imo.
Funny that, I thought Johnson looked very nervy tonight, not his worst game but not his best either.
We all see games differently. I agree it wasn't his best game but I thought he did OK bearing in mind he'd been out for a little while and, according to the commentator, was kind of rushed back into action. I honestly don't think the absence of Coufal and Cresswell affected the outcome. We had the lion's share of the ball but Spurs had the blokes, Kane, Son and Moura, who are always capable of scoring and, as we all know, an out and out striker is something we don't have at present.

Overall a decent performance with a weakened team imo.

Rice is just something else,a Rolls Royce of a player. We had them on the rack with Lloris by far their best player.

If we'd have our first choice full backs on the pitch,we'd have won the game.

Onwards and upwards.
If we have 11 Rice in our squad, we would win the Premier league and some Cup competitions.
Ahh, but Ibby would 11 Declans beat 11 Fodens or 11 Mo Salahs. ? ;) ;) ;)

Actually funnily enough I think they would in this example as having the best tacklers on the pitch would make the difference

Foden is equal to Declan so a draw but Salah, he is a cheating theatrical person so he is weak but slightly below Rice.
