Bowen is fast becoming like Rice, in a different league to others in the team, he was fantastic yesterday.
Apart from the usual criminal mis-shooting by everyone and their dog, we played well and deserved our three points, with a bonus clean sheet. whufc_crest

Bowen,Rice and Fornals were excellent.Cresswell,a decent first game back.

Fabs made a great save too.

Antonio had one of them awful games. His either very good or bloody terrible.

Thought Masuaku did well, apart from that cross.

We missed Soueck at set pieces today.

Onwards and upwards. whufc_crest
Personally think that Masuakus " cross" was a poor shot.,inside of the right foot, why not a left foot if it was a cross?!

Yeah. Some Norwich fans on a video last night admitted this should have been a pen

Anywhere else on the pitch it's a borderline red card, never mind a foul. But there's a different set of rules when something happens in the penalty area. There was another incident as well when a Norwich player had a massive handful of our player's shirt and nothing was given.

But we have to be honest and say there have been occasions when our defenders have, shall we say, used the penalty area rulebook to their advantage. Ogbonna is particularly good at interpreting the rules to his advantage. Must be the Italian mentality. ;)

We’ve definitely got lucky at times. This one has been one of the most shocking for me lately though. And I woulda said the same if it was Fabs or the tit against their striker tbh

What I most like about Bowen is this: He tries to be the best version of a footballer he could be.
Take the first goal last night, small bloke against taller defenders in the box. His movement and timing grabbed the initiative and good technique won the battle.
And his work rate is phenomenal.

Antonio should look at his mate and try and see what extra effort can do and how the rewards naturally follow.

Rice, Bowen and Fornals are the heart and soul of this team.
They are the glue who hold the whole structure together

Surprised the blind cunt of a ref didn’t give a foul on the keeper tbh.
