Apparently "big club" Leicester have used the absence of players out in Africa at the moment (Iheanacho, Amartey and Ndidi) as part of their request to have tonight's Everton game postponed.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footb ... ments.html
If the F.A accept that then it is confirming that the whole situation is just a joke. As has been said, they know the drawbacks of signing African internationals so they cant , and shouldnt be allowed, to use that as an excuse. Play or pay i say.

Whatever is said, the likes of Man U and Spurs started this malarkey.

The likes of Leicester have just continued it.

It would be funny if there was a massive breakout and it all stopped for a 2/3 week period, but games had to be played by the end of season date.

Love to see them all playing 3 times a week and moaning about the welfare of the players, whilecthe honest teams are only playing twice a week.

Has Blakey would say"That would make my day".😁

The problem with that, without a crystal ball etc, the " honest teams " could just as likely be playing , or forced to play, 3 times a week.

They have accepted it mate. It was always going to happen when the rule was introduced. Football's been around long enough for everyone to realise that if you give an inch everyone will take a mile. As you say the African Nations thing that Leicester are using is far worse than the Covid postponements imo. Leicester knew these players would be fucking off when they signed them. FFS can you imagine the conspiracy theorists going red in the face if Liverpool had asked for postponements because Salah, Mane and Keita were disappearing. But because it's the lovely cuddly foxes it kind of goes under the radar.

Maybe now they will get off their fat arses and find a solution to this, wont hold my breath though, seems its as we all thought and if you are big enough you can get away with things.

they no longer have a pot to piss in, but they will try and it will be on the smaller boys.

FFS don't let the people who drive Project Fear find out about this or we'll be having the dangers of the Klopp Variant rammed down our throats all bloody day.

Well like the virus, we will have to learn to live with it, getting our knickers in a tangle will only squeeze our own nuts. And really, are we surprised

But imagined if we'd have been has dishonest as the rest of them,we'd have had a lot more games to fulfil
