How are we supposed to know the answer to that particular conundrum ? In any case surely training sessions don't really give an indication what someone's going to perform like when it really matters do they ?
Have to disagree, if he's not cutting it in training why should he get on the pitch ahead of those that are?
The reality is in this Moyes team, if he thinks a player is holding back in training he won't put them on the pitch
As I said, none of us know what happens in training so we have no idea how Kral is performing at Rush Green. But there is a massive difference between "giving it your all" in training and then being sent out to play in a proper football match in front of a crowd and the T V cameras.
I was good enough to play 5 games in the old football combination and, even though I say so myself, I was a decent trainer. But when I came up against proper, and talented, opposition on the pitch (and that was only reserve team level ffs) it soon became apparent to everyone, including me, that I didn't have what it takes
Look at the number of 20 somethings still fucking around in the Under 23 league. If these kids had enough talent to be playing at the top level wouldn't they, at least, be out on loan somewhere playing "proper" games ? It's playing in matches that determine how good a player is, not how many keepy uppies he does, or how fast he runs the 100 metres.
