Haaland will find it hard to outpace our back four, even given their age and recovery speed.

Pre season starts in 10 days so the whole squad including all newbies will for once have plenty of time to gel and work on their tactical play as set out by our own tactical genius. Now hopefully gone are the times we bring in players at the last minute, who are unproven with the squad and tactics and therefore have to sit on the bench most of the season. :)

I'm sure that City will give us the credit we deserve and will be very cautious against our ageing back 4, five if you add Flappy to that, and a striker who can sometimes get it close to the goal.
Then there is the unknown, championship players introduced into the squad, relegated because they frankly weren't good enough for PL football before. The odd free transfer that were once rated by the manager and as an attacking force must be treated with caution as 5 goals in 75 games says it all.

I rarely back against us losing even against the likes of Liverpool and City ...but this time I'm going for a 7-1 win for city, because the way things are going and the alleged players we are linked with for the forthcoming season we are going to struggle against all the teams in the league.

But onwards and upwards....
That's the spirit Andy.
Craig Bellamy's chomping at the bit.
Just keep him away from the golf clubs

I see Liverpool start against a Championship team again 4th time in a row.

Don’t tell me it is not fixed.
It’s not what you do it is the way that you do it.

Not sure who do the fixtures list on computers or whatever as I don't understand why West Ham facing the top 6 side for the 7th times in 9 season. Why West Ham never start with for example Crystal Palace or Everton or Bournemouth or Brighton. It has been the same boring teams at the start.

True and Newcastle will be in the top 7 side so won't be big 6, it will be big 7.

Hop you are right as the top 4 usually spend big due to their Champions League ££££ income but there is only 4 teams in it so the 3 that missed out will find harder to spend. Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool are the 3 main teams that always in top 4 as they have done in so many years and with Man Utd Arsenal and Tottenham have to fight it out for 4th place like last season so like you said, Newcastle will struggle to get in.

With 70% of the income to spend on players from 2025 onwards, that will stop big clubs getting too greedy.
