Another uninspiring appointment, I would like to know why he has accepted the job, surely a step down.

Personally I don't think he's done too bad at the club's he's been at. Forest and QPR both had problems off the field which affected player recruitment. He took Brentford up and won a few things with Rangers.
Ok the jock league is a farce, but you still have to win the trophies no matter what.
I think he'll do well, if he uses his crust.
