It was Terry but he's bitching out of owning up.
Find and put it up then.I know exactly what I said.

Your wires are crossed.I did say IF we'd have won the Europa League, then Moyes would be up there with Greenwood and Lyall

But then , by your own reasoning , Moyes will have won only ONE trophy ,so nowhere near the other two .

But he hasn’t even done that so that makes him a negative , defensive , scaredy-cat cunt

Still .

So, you publicly state that Moyes was 2 games away from immortality and joint best ever manager at the club. FMOB.
Read that and say you're not embarrassed.

But playing devil's advocate it could be said that IF we had won the Europa Cup.which would have involved qualifying for it through league placing in the first place, then going through a 6 match group stage, followed by (had we reached the final) 3 more knock out ties (6 games) and one final, 13 games in all, it would have represented a greater achievement than any of the other wins, which involved far fewer matches to achieve. ;)

But that said it's a moot point because as the man once said "if my uncle had been a woman he'd be my aunt". Big word is IF. So applying Terry's logic to whether Moyes would or would not be up there we could say He didn't so he isn't.

At least I think we could.

This is just a perfect example of being misquoted which happens all the time.

The West Ham board released a statement "the best person to get this club out the shit, is the person who put them in it" - except they didn't use the word shit.

The media who prefer concision just quoted the meat and potatoes, "DM best person to get West Ham out the shit" - again they didn't use the word shit.

So even recent example shows, how a small misquote can interrupt a good sacking...

Funny how everyone forgets the humiliating cup defeats under Greenwood and Lyall.
That’s without the near constant relegation survival

Don't know tyour age Dwayne but I'm old enough to remember hearing calls of "Greenwood out" and "Lyall out" on many occasions at Upton Park over the years.

I wasn't watching in 1966 but, FFS, with 3 world cup winners in the team and I believe a fourth player, Peter Brabrook, good enough to have been named in the original 40 before being cut out of the final 22, doesn't that suggest the management of the club wasn't all that ?

Either that or the rest of the team were fucking shit.
