Covid overhang. Gamed postponed and players missing due to covid protocols.
Utter disruption to the league will only have vanished next season.
Well we’ll have to agree to totally disagree .
But as for your original question , we’ll probably finish there or thereabouts again .
But we’ll never go any further whilst You know who is in charge .
True we’d never have got this far were it not for him but his limitations will prove to be our limitations as a club .

It’s difficult enough for him to make an in-game decision as it is .
A decision on squad additions is difficult enough for him in a ‘normal’ transfer window , imagine how difficult it’s going to be in a transfer window where 2/3 of the squad are either out of contract or too old and too slow and he needs to find ten decent squad players just to tread water ?
It’ll be the same old scene I’m afraid , slightly different 12/13 players but same shit .

But hey , let’s be thankful we’re not in a relegation battle every season.
I totally agree with you on this NM....but my opinion sinks into oblivion when Popeye comes out with this

"We’re going to be a team at the bottom of the league if we are going to keep losing goals like we have in the last couple of games.”

Maybe he knows things that we think we do, is this a subtle hint that he thinks the team won't be changed much at the start of the season if so we are doomed....

First time this season, I have not shat myself. :D

Though to be fair, last season was a relaxed affair for me to watch. ;)

The observation is, you coach them and you pick them.

It's like saying after the fact "...of course I didn't get the job, I looked ridiculous at the interview...wearing a yellow suit and a purple shirt, ffs"

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but is next season starting early to accommodate a certain tournament early in the new year.
Hardly a normal season.

And the winter breaks that will probably continue following next season. It will probably be 3 or 4 seasons it becomes the norm and will be accepted as a real season, and then it's only if we aren't hit with a plague of locusts. Likes to stack the cards in his favour does numbers.

Hardly a normal season.
Not only starting early, and presumably finishing late, with an enforced "winter break" right in the middle of it.

Normal it most certainly won't be.
