The only Englishman to lift the World Cup and a true West Ham legend.
Was truly gutted when I heard the sad news of his passing the tributes around the gates of Upton Park showed the affection and respect he had from supporters all over not just Hammers.

God bless Mooro.
RIP Bobby.
You'd have hated watching the shit on offer now.
He’d have to buy a claret membership just to get a ticket let alone allowed to watch it .
The fact that the only captain of a football World cup winning English team has never been knighted is a disgrace and one that the FA should hang their heads in shame for.
Anyone, including me who say him play will always remember his imperious presence on the pitch and he was all things West Ham.

Indeed . Terry posted this a week or so ago (or it might’ve been on KUMB) but here it is again , and I remember a lot of it myself . Excellent stuff and different class to todays tripe.
