Don't you think being in a team with better players may be a factor when we assess his performances ?

Most definitely. Outstanding last night, and had to walk a tight rope for almost a whole second half.
I won't begrudge him a move, why would he want to hang about at our shit show of a club.

True, he looks class (not of late though) when playing for us, but as said he looks gold when playing with our squad. Putting him in with better players can tell you if it is fools gold or the real thing.

You could say for 2 seasons he would be our motm in most games, our stand out player. This season for us I can only think of a handful games he has been motm.
Says to me he not playing for the manager.
It’s not what you do it is the way that you do it.

Ray Parlour and Danny Murphy were just on the:Radio. They were saying that they don't believe the system that West Ham play, brings the best out in Rice.

Let's be honest Southgate can be a bit Moyesesque,so for them to be saying that shows how negative our manager is.

He did look world class in the first half.

That's one explanation. Another couldf be that no one is, other players performances have dropped off to the detriment of the whole team and Rice's form is suffering as a consequence. So called luxury players are heavy to carry in a shit show of a team.

That second half was very West Ham like. Defending for our lives, and Rice was instrumental in keeping it at 2-1.

Yep. They were dog shit 2nd half. May have been easier if Grealish hadn't fucked up that sitter to make it 3-0.

And Dion Dublin said it was a difficult chance.

Cunt.

Didn’t watch the encounter last night as it was the Apprentice final.
Switched over later last night and nearly threw up over the marble mouth wank fest that ensued.
That panel of “ pundits “ on the pitch looked a fucking picture as well.
Rice’s career can only get better the sooner he fucks off from Moyes and the club.
