Although no chance of a ticket I'll drive there. Google Maps say 15 hours.
The Mercedes has a sleeping compartment so that's sorted. Naturally 'Ride of the of the Valkyries' by Wagner will be bellowing out of the loudspeakers for the German part of the trip. I'll have the top down too so I can accept the salutes in my full Sturmbahnfuhrer outfit. Lady P can drive for that bit.
I'd better not do that for the French part as they may surrender.
A noble effort my compadre.
I'm getting the split screen fired up with the giant cock fastened securely on top. Myself, hydrangea, pippa and Malachi shall be atop blasting out Vera Lynn's greatest hits after consuming vast amounts of illegal substances.
I suggest we meet on route and take them by suprise Mon Ami.
Should be a hoot!
I think Whiskyman and garnett are probably who he is referring to.
Absolutely not. I welcome the club's involvement in any European competition and regard this competition as having more merit than either domestic pot. Of course it's the poor relation of the European competitions but winning it gives access to the "middle tier" competition.
I really have no idea why you feel I was one of those who decried this competiton.
Whatever anybody says,we won't be in a much easier competition to win.We were favorites from the very start. We still have to beat what is front of us and have done that very well, winning every game, apart from one draw.
Like many,I am over the moon to be in the Final and if we win it,will give me the biggest thrill since 1980 being a West Ham fan.
It certainly would. But as this is from the Telegraph I suspect it is just another piece of "anti anything European" journalistic bollocks. Even if any sanctions were imposed I doubt any court, anywhere in the world, would uphold them.
Why Is There Only One Monopolies Commission. Isn't That A Monopoly?

I didn’t read the whole report as I don’t subscribe but whether it was in that article or another, it said nothing would happen til after the final anywhere. But I agree, I don’t think it will happen

I read it in the Guardian article, and like you, can't see it happening. If it's true then it's UEFA puffing out their feathers, they would lose what little respect they have. Again if it is true they would have lost a bit already by even bringing up the fact they have thought about it.
