They claim that we are having problems agreeing personal terms with Maguire

It was understood that the Irons had agreed to pay Maguire £120,000 per week, a significant reduction from his current £190,000-a-week wage, while he will receive a £6 million fee from Manchester United when departing Old Trafford to help offset his wage cut at the London Stadium.

But apparently that is still not enough and The Sun claim he is stalling.

So, we are now looking at Bayer Leverkusen’s Odilon Kossounou as a back up.

The 22-year-old Bayer Leverkusen defender is well known to Tim Steidten, from his time at the Bundesliga club and is a big admirer of the youngster’s talent and potential.

The 6ft 3in defender has made a total of 69 appearances in all competitions since joining the Bundesliga side from Club Brugge in the summer of 2021. He seems to be viewed as a bit-part player though. So it looks like he is keen on a fresh start, and a move to the Premier League could be the next big step in his career.

Maguire v Kossounou or Moyes v Steidten

Ding , ding….Round one

This could be interesting !

Personally for me, I would rather get Kossounou than Maguire and at aged 22 a right young defender we need as we got Ogbonna 35C, Zouma 30, Coufal going to be 31, Emerson 30 going to be 31. We need several young defenders in the next 12 months.

Well my friend, it may pain you, as it has done me, to hear that Lingard has been training with us at the Rush Green fallout site, and Popeye is, god forbid, considering offering him a short term contract......

Not overly keen on Lingard as he refused to come to us last summer then we got Pacman.
"I am always correct", but "if I am wrong", please refer to the first phrase.

Excellent news. Getting the band back together.

Declan's been substituted in half the games he's played for the Arse and not scored a single goal. 10 mil would do the trick.

Hussar !!

Don't really care if he didn't want to come last summer , I will be happy for any fit , young , energetic , pacey and technically gifted footballers to come to West Ham , does he have all these attributes Ibby ? .
These are the kind of players we should be looking to , fuck the premier league experienced , slow and aging crowd we want youth .
