I’m not excited regarding prospect of Maguire at the back, a more expensive Dawson imo.

However with addition of JWP, can see Maguire scoring a few goals for us.

Set piece Utd. Exciting times. 🙄

He was a very good player with Leicester. He has, according to many Manchester United fans and from what I've seen with my own eyes, been an absolute disaster from the moment he went to Old Trafford. That was quite a while ago and once a player loses his mojo, as Maguire seems to have done, it is very difficult to get it back.

IF he does sign, isn’t he pretty much guaranteed that left side where he plays most of his games? That’s gonna either put Aguerd out of position or on the bench which means Zouma will most likely be the partner in crime. I think we need another 3 or 4 DM’s

Maybe the cunning plan that someone suggested on here, to play Aguerd in a DM role, will be introduced. Imo Aguerd is not a very good defender, probably cost us more goals last season than Maguire cost Man U, but has the skillset to do a Rice type job in midfield.

That’s quite a statement considering Maguire cost them a few, and didn’t even play that much.
Can’t see Aguerd slotting into DM now we’ve got Alvarez but could possibly see 5 at the back as some have suggested
