West Ham vs Freiburg Official Match Thread

Post by Ibbyham »

Following our bitter disappointing result against Fulham and some players are unexpected ill so hopefully no more of that. We got so many games with 3 days each in Freiburg (Thu), Wolves (Sun) Bin-dipper League Cup Quarter Final (Wed) and Man Utd on Sat lunch-time so that 4 games in space of 10 days before we tackle Arsenal on 28th which has bee moved back 2 days so that give us a little leeway then Brighton on 2nd January before the FA Cup on 5th/6th/7th January before the 2 weeks break. That is a hell a lot of games but our fringe players SHOULD RESPECT the fans that they can do business. Anyway back to this important game that we CAN'T afford to lose so likely to put up a strong squad.

Squad:

Fabianski

Johnson
Mavropano
Aguerd
Emerson

Alvarez
JWP

Bowen
Paqueta
Kudus

Mubama

I would rather put Bowen on right side with Mubama up front. Coufal, Soucek and Zouma may need a rest and start on the bench.

All I hope to see a REACTION.

They beat Olympiakos 5-0 last outing, at least we now know what it feels like and hopefully do more to avoid more of the same.

A win on thursday,no matter how big or well, wont cover up all his faults. This is the game i think he has really had his eyes on. We are comfortable atm in the league, and he has already admitted we arent ready for the top 6 . So why try im guessing.

Freiburg seem to have hit form and in light of our recent form I think nicking any sort of win is odds against at the mo. Of course we only need a point and I understand we are waiting for a response from UEFA regarding our request to name two goalkeepers.to start the game.

I have a sense of impending doom about this one and fear another defeat, maybe even a biggish one, may be on the cards.

Is that instead of or addition to. I thought you had to name 3. Though imo you should be able to take father christmas if he was signed and named in the numbers.
