Prediction League - Round 17 - Results

Post by OZHAMMER »

What an improved effort this round. My faith in you lot has been restored.

The Bournemouth v Luton game predictions will stand and be included in a round when played at the amended time. Spare a thought for the Luton captain... surely that is the end of his career now that it has happened a second time...? :(

Some exceptionally high scores this round. The cumulative score total was the highest round with 2550 points, surpassing the Round 9 cumulative score of 2520. And to achieve this with only nine games was remarkable.

Congratulations to Danish for topping the round with a fantastic score of 230, closely followed by Newmarket and Clay with scores of 210. NM has jumped out of the relegation places, and looks to have left Dano and Deano in his wake. Clay is now launching an attack on Mick, whose position on the top appears a little shakier. From a positional standpoint, Danish was the biggest mover, moving up five places, and Europe is now a very real possibility. Monumental effort to get four correct scores, and one of them being his joker.

Ibby has moved up into the CL places with some impressive scores, whilst Jay is finally finding some direction... unfortunately, that direction is south.

In a round of unusually high scores, Dano managed a dismal 40 points. He needs an engine rebuild pronto.

Please let me know if there are any errata.

At least my club, Ibbyham is keeping the score above 100 which is my target per week to stay above 100 points mark. Some excellent results that resulted me 40 points but some are very disappointed ones especially Man City vs Palace as when the score was 2-1 going to injury time and I had every confident for Man City to get the 3rd goal as Guardiola reputation for every teams he managed always usually scores after 90 minutes but was wiped out with a blatant penalty for Palace and that wipe me 80 points of my arse! otherwise I could have be closer to the top 2 side. Also disappointed with Burnley vs Everton as Burnley should have know better to start scraping up for points as I put down a draw between each other but sadly Burnley are sleeping.

Hopefully next round(s) will be even more better.

COYI (Come On You Ibbyham!)
"I am always correct", but "if I am wrong", please refer to the first phrase.

Cheers Oz , hoping the pressure of attempting to knock Mick off the top doesn't effect my predictions , and hoping the fact I am catching him gives Mick the jitters .
