With the exception of Paqueta and Antonio none of the above are good enough . These 2 , one has ambition the other is probably physically incapable of a starting berth though it wouldn’t break my heart if he became a bench option , useful income sub more than useful starter if we had depth to back him up .

I would try to keep Paqueta but I think he will force a move away and I would like to have Antonio here for another year but as a back up. JWP is a decent squad player and adds to the home grown quota so I wouldnt sell, I would also try to keep Coufal but rumours are he has rejected a contract bid. He is a decent squad player with a great attitude. Ben Johnson will go they say. I would give Mavropanos another season to adapt.

If Leeds wont go up we should try to sign their Dutch winger Summerwille, proper, PROPER talent he is and fast as a lightning!

Then we need to sign "home grown" players to fill the quota. So what English players can we sign that are good enough for us?

While I agree on most of the above, I do question Coufal?
For me he is one of our most underrated players, he right up there with other RB’s in Pl with assists.

While I see he getting on a bit and his defensive 1:1’s is starting to suffer he could still be a squad player for us next season.
I would rather sell Soucek, especially if we get a manager who focuses on technical ability.
