As funny as it is for myself....I wouldn't worry about that if was supporting England. Slovakia had fuck all intention of having a shot. In the knock outs it'll be rare to come up against a so defensive side plus you rested a handful of players.
Ok Slovakia never looked like scoring apart from that one cock-up by that cunt Smalling. But top teams know how to break down a packed defence. And when the chances do come at international level you have to put them away. Steptoe and Sturridge didn't.
To break teams like that down a useful weapon is a big bloke to get on the end of crosses. Our best one is on a beach somewhere now.
We now play either Hungary, Portugal, Austria or Iceland. It could be worse I suppose.
