So..... have been reading that Woy the Wise will be looking to rest a lot of players for tonight's game.
Once again, more proof of the man's utter inability to grasp a simple understanding of "how to succeed in tournament football".
Any coach with ambitions to go further into this tournament MUST aspire to win the group.
Clearly Woy thinks it's better to play Germany in the last 16 with a fully rested first 11 rather than play an Albania with a slightly less rested first 11.
The man's a fuckwit of the highest order !
Fancy calling your only son "Barnestoneworth"
He's got another name....
Yeah....."United"

Well if he starts Henderson or Milner then he clearly has more faith in them than I do. The opposition will not be frightened by facing those players where as Barkley would cause them a lot of problems.
I'd be interested in seeing Sturridge and Wilshere start though.
There was a similar discussion prior to the France game last night and the general consensus is " play your strongest team at all times".
And so it turned out. They only started looking less wank when God arrives on.
The Panel also pointed out the France had a 7 day break after last night's game so basically a 12 day sabattical for and " first choice player" who didn't start last night!!
Cup like this are won on form and there's no better way to achieve that by playing your strongest line up every time.
Of course nobodies saying " don't bring a sub on here or there" or make a change ( ala Kane) if something isn't working BUT SURELY playing your strongest team to get momentum is a no brainer!!!!
