1. He's a winner and would have any international side with a reasonable set of players challenging for honours within no time

2. Thank fuck The FA are The FA and so no manager of real repute will touch them with a barge pole.

3. The FA are interested in Lt Colonel types who are 85 years old and have 60 years "experience" (whatever that means).
Bilic, as a person that plays the guitar, wins more than he loses and is under 70 years old would be seen as an "upstart who deploys a scattergun approach not befitting the FA".
