The Government are allowing some concessions to the lock down.

People can meet in small groups max 3 people.

Outdoor activities (see above) allowed

Businesses where social distancing can be ensured are allowed (encouraged ?) to re-open

Some takeaway restaurants will re commence trading

Social distancing is still advised, however probably only 70% of the population are smart enough to understand what it means and actually follow the guidelines

The Stay home, save lives slogan, has been replaced by Stay safe, save lives in the old Animal Farm tradition of Four legs good, two legs better

We are doing the best we can and fighting back with lots of graphs and charts and celebrating stuff that happened 75 years ago. Pretty impressive...

Garden centres but not cafes or play areas within them to re-open on Wednesday. Council tips too possibly.

Places of worship for small gatherings as long as social distancing is observed the week after possibly as long as the mystical R number stays below 1. And if the trend stays on course, outdoor sports like golf the same week. Again as long as you don't go near your opponent. Fourballs won't be allowed.

Other than that, Stephen King said in one of his books, How many angels dance on the head of a pin ?

Because it's reported that since Fat Ange eased measures in Ze Fatherland, cases have started going up again and we're all looking to them for guidance.

Good luck with that Bundesliga thingy.

Locus herds x 40 size of general distributions so that's the food crop under threat. It's all been reported and noticed, under other news - which is obscured by the 50 Corona stories every day...plus the money supply is under a bit of pressure these days...

Isn't it blindingly obvious that would happen when we're talking about a virus which is transmitted via human contact ?

Which is why a lot of people are now questioning the lockdown measures as they are simply delaying, rather than halting, the spread.

Do we continue to keep the present measures in place until a vaccine is discovered, which seems to be a long way off. and do further damage to an already battered economy, and of course the livelihoods of many people. Or do we accept the fact that most people are going to catch it at some time in the future and try to get back to some sort of normality ?

Answers on a postcard to No 10 Downing Street.

Nobody knows because nobody is being tested. NHS frontline staff have to wait days for results which is clearly ridiculous as the scientists admit that hospitals are infectious hot zones.

The current IOW phone-app trial is not going to be useful,if people who might need a test can't actually access a service.

The more you look into the mortality data the more you wonder how deadly this disease actually is.Problem is we don't know because the reports have blurred lines...

Agree it does seem fairly inevitable that hospitals are going to be hot zones. Isn't it a bit of a "no shit Sherlock" situation. The disease spreads quicker where there is a high concentration of people who have it existing in fairly close proximity to each other ? Same as the care home death rates. The elderly are the group accepted to be the most vulnerable so it's not really surprising that where there are groups of elderly people living under the same roof the rates of infection are higher and the recovery rates lower than amongst the general population.

OK, so let;s talk the unthinkable that the government and the media that's (mostly) in it's pocket doesn't want to be discussed.

Apparently there is to be a study into why deaths from the so called "BAME" groups are higher than people not falling into those categories. Are we entitled to ask why ? Deaths are deaths. Irrespective of age, race, religion. sex or anything else. Why do we need a study to determine why certain groups of people, whether they be old, sick, black asian or from fucking Mars, are supposedly dying more regularly from this virus ?

I am fairly sure the scientific community is aware of these so called statistics and are looking into possible reasons. So why the fuck do we need some sort of government funded fucking "study" to look into it ?
