It's the other way around, most masks do not stop aerosols, which is where the virus molecules reside.

I must be reading this wrong but surely the molecules don’t just reside in aerosols and surely it’s harder to get a bigger droplet through a hole than a small droplet. My aunt was my sister until recently and explained the mask to me
