They might be worried about hospitalisations and so they should be, but for other reasons.

Thirty two thousand people have contracted covid due to being in a hospital environment. Of that number, 25% died, eight thousand people (approx)

Imagine if 32,000 people sustained double fractures while being in hospital. And of these,8,000 subsequently died. It's fucking ridiculous.

And it's not a case of people getting ill,feeling poorly,finally contacting an ambulance and arriving in hospital. Where perhaps the disease is too advanced to get the better of. These people who caught the disease in hospita,had the diagnosis confirmed within 24 hours...and yet 25% of them still died. If that doesn't need explaining then nothing does.

However if those 32,000 people/patients, all had underlying health conditions of the most disagreeable type...well, Bobs your uncle and well played the NHS...for saving 75%
