Where was Music Machine? I've never heard of that!
Camden Town opposite Mornington Crescent tube station . Later became the Camden Palace where all the Steve Strange Woofter types used to congregate .
Now called Koko

Never went there.
The Marquee was my favourite. Was there pretty much every week. I saw Guns N' Roses first ever UK gig in there!

Top 5 Situation Comedies from the 1970's.
1.Fawlty Towers
2.Porridge
3.Rising Damp
4.Till Death Us Do Part.
5.George & Mildred.
"George & Mildred"? Oh please!
Take that out and put Only Fools And Horses in there.
Only Fools And Horses started in 1981.
Could have had Some Mothers Do Ave Em.,but went for G & M....Loved it when he went next door to see the "Posh"Formiles and they asked him if he wanted a green tea.
He said "No,I'll have the one the monkey's drink".

He could have slipped in "Terry and June"...I bet he was tempted and if you go that route, your soon into "On the Buses" territory
the equivalent for Generation X is "Mrs Browns Boys"
SHIT!...I forgot about On The Buses.

I was there a few times. I saw Transvision Vamp there. Down the front. Wendy James with one foot on the monitor. Great view!!
There was another little music venue, a few doors down from Town & Country. Can't remember that name now though.
