We had the very beginnings of all this at chokey 20 years back. They banned smoking for staff, not that I did, but gave them a smoking room. I told the governor I felt I was being discriminated against because my own particular anti-social behaviour was being completely ignored.
We never did get a wanking room and I'm suffering from issues to this day.
I later, on realisation that not only were prisoners treated better than us, especially blick ones, but that blick officers too were given preferential treatment, that I told another governor that I wanted to declare myself blick and it was my human right to do so.
