RIP Sir Frank Williams, died aged 79. :(

Established the F1 Williams team and won many drivers and constructor titles. Now his team has been sold to an American outfit and hope they keep his legacy going.

It was sad to hear that.
It's going to be interesting to see how the sport and the other teams commemorate his life and his contribution to the sport.
He was the longest serving team principal in the history of Formula One. He led the team to 16 Drivers and Constructors World Championships. And they were responsible for creating the most technically advanced car the sport will ever see.
He battled through adversity, both in a business sense and of course, physically.
He has been a huge credit to the sport. Let's hope he is given a fitting send-off!

His passing now is in some way quite fitting, as the next race we are going to is Saudi Arabia. Williams won their first World Championships, both Drivers and Constructors, in 1980 with Alan Jones at the wheel, in a car that was sponsored by the Saudi Arabian airline Saudia.
That car was the Williams FW07. How fitting it would be if the Williams team were to run their cars in those colours for the next race.

Wonder what happened to the legend in hospital

Was reported that he was stable in hospital only a few days before his unfortunate death.

I always remember Mansell in the Honda Williams car, when I use to watch it religiously every Sunday back in the 80's and 90's.

I don't bother nowadays.
