We used to take over the Royal Aviemore for the week, no expense spared.
Always used to share a suite with Pinky Fitzherbert who went on to achieve great things in the Foreign Office, and Petchey Minor who got a first in National Socialism at Magdalen.
I remember the slopes were as cold as a witch's tit. We'd stick to the blues and reds near the bottom but I'd occasionally ski over the blacks at the top if the wind wasn't too bad.
