At 6,the blonde hair legend was my first hero and I wanted to see him in the flesh.My Dad took me to the Bobby Moore shop in the Summer of that year,then to see the man on the Upton Park surface in September of that year.

Tbh,the noise of the crowd was deafening and I'd never really heard my Dad shout before.Clyde Best scored twice in front of a near full house v Chelsea.All a bit of a blur though.

I do believe it was the day that Ron Chopper Harris ruined a young and promising career of Johnny Ayris..C*NT!
