As they say in China, it’s a eat dog world. I think that’s the saying anyway
The actual Chinese proverb is

'Give a man a dog and you'll feed him for a week.
But teach him how to catch them and he can open a restaurant'.

A mate was charged £8.50 for a pint in Twickenham last week. That's fucking Paris prices. Yes it was a 'special' ale on the banks of the Thames but even so.

I myself am happy to live in the sticks and pay less although my local (ish) has raised it's prices and a pint of cider cost me £3 on Friday. I was happy to pay it and sit in the garden as I was sweating more than Fred West watching Groundforce (Jay's joke), but it's still a bloody outrage.

I guess the rugger buggers are more affluent than their round ball loving counterparts.

Yep. Quins fans won't be going to the food banks anytime soon.

Now you know why I drink drain cleaner Jay.
Although lately I've been strongly drawn towards a nice drop of wood varnish.
80 jib for a pint. The cunt would be wearing it.
Love a cup of Rosey I do.

I've tried making a Somerset version of that yank beer using hops, road tar and sheep shit. 15% proof. It's worked out well and I've set up a bar at Castle Cary station, the dropping off point for Glastonbury.

Because of the rail strike, the great unwashed with more money than sense have descended early. I mean, £245 to see some wrinkly old scouse cunt as the headline act ?.

They'll be camping out in parks for a couple of days. No amenities to be found there so a bit of blissful oblivion is what they need at £47 a pint.

Happy days.
