Of late, there've been groups of old farts in my and the surrounding villages in hi-viz jackets and clipboards writing down the number plates of blatant criminals who go a mile over the speed limit. They stand there in all weathers for hours on end. They have no powers but send the numbers to plod who do fuck all about it anyway.

I know a good counselor my good man, one that I've been using for over 20 years. He's fucking hopeless and hasn't done a bit of good, but he's ok for a chin wag every now and then.
