My 2 year old granddaughter's range of words is coming along nicely. So far she's mastered the phrases.

This home learning things a doddle, I tell ya.

Quite so my learned friend. I'm to be a grandfather myself in May.

And I've been buying her a few books.....Baby's first doner, Daddy goes dogging, Mohammed and the sinking dinghy. Basic stuff.

It's important the older generation pass down valuable knowledge I feel.

A backward step I fear in our struggle for inclusivity. I foolishly loved the Narnia books by CS Lewis as a child but they are so out of date with society now and I've written to the Minister for Education with recommendations.

The Magicians Nephew will be the Magicians non-binary relative.
The Horse and his Boy will be the Horse and his self-identifying owner.
The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe to be the Lion, the harmless purveyor of alternative medicine and the Wardrobe.
Prince Caspian to They Caspian.
The Silver Chair to the Chair not associated with wealth.
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader to the Voyage of the RNLI saving poor refugees in the channel.

I've also written to the author himself and although he died in 1963 I've had no reply which is an insult quite frankly.
