Boxing tonight 7-10-16

Post by Taansend »

Ricky Burns defends his WBO Light Welter title against unproven Belarus banger Kiryl Relikh 21(19)-0.

Relikh has fight garbage but can punch.

Burns tough and not too hard to hit. Should be fun while it lasts.

Two good fights on the undercard.

My man Dillian Whyte against fellow South Londoner Ian Lewison. Both can bang. Could be explosive.

Scotty Cardle v Kevin Hooper should be a very close fight. Nip & tuck, as they say.

Shame about Whyte's ban though Taans, 2 years was a long time to be out of the game.
Love a cup of Rosey I do.

I see Burns won a unanimous points decision. Sounds like it was an interesting wee scrap.

And Whyte by stoppage (Retired) at the end of the 10.
