First one has a Latin/funk jazz thing going on...Second is Bluesy Gospel like then goes into Jazz,great crossovers...

Bob Marley left us 40 years ago today....Pure Joy for me this....toss up this or redemption song my Fav,but theres loads,
grew up with Reggae blasting out everywhere...was a shock to find out I was white...TBH..thought i was adopted..

Great tracks, as are so many. This particular one is one of my go to songs i crucify on singstar (PlayStation karaoke) . I do better at this than many others though.
When growing up my babysitters were black and my dads best mate was black and all loved the reggae as did my dad so was always gonna be a reggae fan I think. Still wonder if I was born the wrong colour
When in Jamaica a few years back, the resort had a Marley tribute act. Wasn’t anything like him tbh except his tan and his ability to sing. When redemption song come on though, all the staff went mental at it. Got the feeling they quite liked it....a bit more than the other songs
