As a former resident of your "best friends" in Brazil it's always nice to have a bit of South American around.
I used to drink in 'Lord Jims' in Rio with a bunch of West Ham supporting Cariocas of whom I'm proud to admit I taught them the "Oh East London is Wonderful" song.
Hearing that sung in Latin-American English is pure joy !!
Tone, when I was in Brazil I heard this & I always wondered if it was widespread or just the bloke telling me's view.
A Brazilian & an Argentinian are walking across some sand dunes when, from the other side of a hill, they suddenly hear some drums playing. The Argentinian starts to worry & says "Who's playing those drums? What do they want from us? Are they going to attack us? Kill us? Eat us? Or worse?"
and he turns round to the Brazilian bloke who's just dancing to the drumbeat with a big smile on his face.
