In a sensational twist, West Ham have turned their attentions to Kaiser Chief's Hakuna Miguu to solve their striking problem.
Dubbed the 'Black Pearl', Miguu is said to be the hottest property from Africa for years and owners Gold and Sullivan seem to have pulled off a masterstroke with a deal in the region of 20m.
West Ham are claimed one of several clubs interested in signing Gent and Ukraine striker Roman Yaremchuk. David Moyes is said keenly following the player during the Euros in his technical observer role.
Yaremchuk is a product of Karpaty Lviv and Dynamo Kyiv sportive schools. He joined FC Dynamo Kyiv making his youth debut for Dynamo in Ukrainian National Youth Competition in 2008. He made his senior debut for Dynamo in 2013 later joining Gent for £1.8m in 2017 on a four-year contract.
He extended his Gent contract to June 2025 last year.
Yaremchuk is also a member of the Ukraine national squad with Hammer Yarmolenko having 25 caps scoring nine goals. Both scored for Ukraine in their opening game against Holland which they lost 3-2.
Would take Armstrong for less than £10m , as the backup Striker .
Never seen him play, at least not for Blackburn, but I'd be a bit concerned if a bloke being punted around for £30 million not too long ago is now available for a fraction of that. Of course it's probably all just click bait but it reminds me a bit of those bargain bins in supermarkets where the soon to be out of date produce gets flogged off at heavily discounted rates.
Why Is There Only One Monopolies Commission. Isn't That A Monopoly?
