I'm not believing this story about PHE advising that Mounty and Chills must self isolate, because they had a chat in the tunnel after the game.
Something is decidedly fishy - did they all break curfew and nip to a speak-easy after the game, tie a few on and then end up in bed with a few lovely hostess types and then back late for breakfast.

I can see why that would annoy Alan in accounts...

And we are led to believe no Scotland players need to self isolate or even Steve Clarke, who was seen pitchside, hugging Billy Gilmour when he left the pitch...
Well I did notice Gareth's nose getting bigger by the minute in the presser.

It’s as though Southgate has been given a remit to get as many people watching the other game as possible.
Tempted Tone. But I wanna see Coufal and Soucek
So you’ll be banking on the Czechs playing their best players in a dead rubber then ?
Bring back Jonathon !

Since the discovery of Covid and the emergence of the likes of Whitty and his scientific models when has logic ever been applied ? So why should we expect logic to be applied simply because a football tournament is taking place ?

Now go and secrete yourself in a dark corner and do something constructive my good man. Then come back and tell us all how many people in Darwen, Lancashire, sneezed more than three times yesterday. That way you will be able to convince many people you are doing something positive to ensure the survival of the human race.

Or at least the part of it that is of Asian descent and over 75 years old. ;)
Is sneezing a symptom then ?

I NEVER knew that 👍🏻😊
I think sneezing on Monday, Thursday and Saturday are symptoms. On the other days the symptom is a persistent cough. Both afflictions are accompanied by an irrational desire to “mask up” and rush into the street to demonstrate what a fine citizen, and gullible cunt, you are, before turning eastward, sticking your arse in the air, and praising the prophet.

You are right BD..It puzzles me on why the Scotland squad DON'T have to isolate, but 2 of the England members do?

Surely BOTH teams would have taken Covid Tests after the game, has it was part of the protocol?
You’re applying logic. Which is silly. Apparently because Chilwell and Mount “associated” with Gilmour in an off limits part of the stadium they are in danger of becoming super carriers and wiping out anybody of pensionable age within a 30 mile radius. The Scottish team are in their protective bubble. And as the good Prof Whitty will tell you if you’re in a bubble you’re safe. Even if the bloke standing next to you is at death’s door.

I think. :(

Recent tests, although not verified 100% yet, indicate that a diet of Irn Bru, single malt, deep-fried cocolate bars, offal and heroin are very effective againt covid, even the Indian variant, which is why the Jocks have no need to self-isolate.

It is in the sense of qualification although finishing 3rd would mean a harder QF game in theory.

Just had a look and if I’m right Scotland or Croatia have to win by 3 clear goals to take 2nd spot. Scotland coz of goal difference and Croatia coz of their head to head with us. Can’t see England wanting to win as 2nd looks the easiest route. Doubt the Czechs will be going all out to win it either. Definitely not a game Geo will be doing a card bet in
