Rumour has it we're interested in signing Gabriel Barbosa.
According to one click bait site I saw, apparently we offered a €6m loan fee which was rejected immediately ....
Fuck knows how true that is, but it made me laugh ,and who would be surprised?

I don't see the downside of making an initial enquiry about a loan deal. It's a win win for both clubs as Flamengo get a good loan fee plus a market rate transfer fee if we take up the option to buy, and we get to try before you buy.
The only possible downside is if we're that keen on him another club coming in and offering to buy and we lose out. But then if we're not 100% on him then why take the risk, or if we are then we have to better any other offer on the table. If that's Newcastle then we can't beat them for money/salary but we can for league position and European football

Mystic Billy new year prediction #1 - Bowen to the dippers for a tasty sum and we'll replace him with the loan signing of Adama fucking Traore.
Why would Bowen go to Liverpool ? He’s good but he wouldn’t be ahead of Salah, Mane or Jota, probably behind Origi as well, in the pecking order.
But fear not. Phil Jones is having a fine match at Old Trafford. I trust Mr Moyes is tuned in.
Yeah,United will be offering Jones,Matic and Mata for Rice and think they are doing us a favour.
David Moyes rules out moves for Flamengo striker Gabriel Barbosa and Wolves winger Adama Traore but will target a forward, a left-back and a centre-back this month
