There is a faction, I think a relatively small one although I could be wrong about that, on this forum who are anti Moyes and who would be delighted to see the back of him.
I've been told they have a What's App group and have meetings in obscure rural pubs where they drink foul tasting, warm, beer with weird sounding names and reminisce about the good old days of woollen scarfs, flat caps and wooden rattles.

I suspect it's because he is intensley disliked. I can't imagine another reason
Indeed, just not really sure what he's done to deserve it. The club and team is in better shape than it has been in recent years.
We're not playing well and we look a little slow (to press and attack,) and unfit maybe. The team selected today should beat Notts Forest. That's down to the players too,. not only the management. We have injury probs and going through a little transitional period. No crisis yet.
Took Ferguson , what 3 / 4 seasons b4 he started winning.
Rice goes nxt yr whoever is in charge… I’d stick with moyes and give him full backing until end of season .
The flip side to that coin is,it took DM one season to take the champions from 1st to a 6th place finish - and they booted his arse out, before it even finished
Utd have gone through , what 5/6 managers since fergie and achieved the square root of FA fella. Incl some of the ‘best ‘ in the world
My point is , I agree moyes is not pep and like most managers he has blind spots, but he has for the most part made us difficult to beat and good on the counter, and not fighting relegation .
He seems a good fit for us at our current level. My guess is however, he will be gone if we are outside top 10 come Xmas because that’s the way it works.

Seriously why on earth would Potter leave Brighton where he is building a very good side to come to a club which is, by fairly common consent, badly run at board level and has a fan base a large number of whom seem to have expectations way beyond anything ever achieved.
I am beginning to hope Moyes either walks or gets the elbow because it gets very depressing reading and listening to the same old moans and groans. Let’s get a new manager in so everyone can get behind the team. Until the new manager suffers his first defeat of course.

Not asking for Moyes to be sacked, but something needs to change or it will be a long hard season, especially as our 2 best players seem completely of the boil.

He's as good as we're going to get under the porn twins but he's now one of the few 'old school' managers surviving. Bruce and Mark Hughes manage lower down with other relics like Dyche and Pulis unemployed.
He does what he does to the best of his ability but his stubborn streak of putting faith in completely out of form players in the hope they'll come good and his woeful use of substitutes often trumps his undoubted ability of building team spirit.
