Well i ggogled and Man utd have gone 25 games in a row unbeaten in the CL. So saying in europe is incorrect.
I just read in the BBC site,I don’t check every little detail. Sorry if its incorrect.
Most successive games without defeat
25 Manchester United (19/09/2007 – 05/05/2009)
19 Ajax (14/09/1994 – 20/03/1996)
19 Bayern München (14/03/2001 – 02/04/2002)
16 Barcelona (08/03/2011 – 03/04/2012)
16 Manchester United (04/03/1998 – 29/09/1999 & 23/10/2001 – 23/10/2002)
CL.
They obviously mean conference league and europa league combined. We got 16

We could break a record tonight for a English (probably British) club if we avoid defeat tonight for going undefeated in Europe.
Will be tough and hope no less than a draw will do. Bayern Munich now got 36 European unbeaten matches, more than any other clubs. West Ham now 16 so hope to carry on.

If that stat for Bayern was right, they woulda won the champions league last year, surely?

I read the Bayern Munich, that 36 games was in fact only in GROUP STAGE but not in knock-out as I understand. West Ham are now King of Europe as its stand with 17 matches unbeaten and first English Club to do so.
I am not sure who held the most unbeaten runs in any European Cups, probably Real Madrid in late 1950s when they won 4 cups in a row I think but there wasn't that many clubs that time as it is now.
